BIOSKETCHI am a pharmacist with over a decade of experience in both the private, public institutional pharmacy sectors and community pharmacies. My commitment to knowledge co-creation in research is reflected in my work. For my Master’s in Public Health, I conducted a research project titled, “Caregiver Experiences of Factors Influencing Adherence to Anti-Tuberculosis Medication in Children Under Five in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa.” This study highlighted the critical role of caregivers in ensuring proper medication adherence, which is essential for treatment success. The findings emphasised the need for child-friendly anti-TB medications and supportive policies for caregivers and health professionals.Since transitioning to academia, I have developed a keen interest in health sciences education and curriculum development. I am eager to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines such as public health, social sciences, and education to drive innovation and improvement in these areas.
