BIOSKETCH
Ms Andile Dlungele is a Developmental Lecturer in the Discipline of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and a registered pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at UKZN. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the former University of Durban-Westville (now UKZN) and a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the same institution. Ms Dlungele is a published researcher whose professional background encompasses hospital and community pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, the clinical research sector, and provincial medicine supply chains. This experience has afforded her a comprehensive understanding of both public and private healthcare systems. Since 2013, she has held leadership roles in the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health’s pharmaceutical services, where she has contributed to strengthening district healthcare delivery. She is also passionate about community building and development.
