Ms. Ngcobo holds a BPharm degree from Rhodes University and a Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from UKZN. She also possesses a certificate in Quality Assurance in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry from North West University. Ms. Ngcobo is a dedicated researcher and educator currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Her research focuses on investigating the effectiveness of Rituximab in rare inflammatory conditions, aiming to contribute to the advancement of treatment options in the field of Immunology.
Ms. Ngcobo’s journey in academia began in 2024 when she joined UKZN as a lecturer, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to undergraduate Pharmacology students. Her passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment have earned her recognition among both students and colleagues.
Prior to her academic pursuits, Ms. Ngcobo completed her internship at King Edward VIII Hospital in Durban, where she gained invaluable clinical experience and insights into patient care. This hands-on experience has enriched her understanding of healthcare practices and inspired her to pursue research that addresses unmet medical needs. Additionally, Ms. Ngcobo dedicated her time to serve at Nkonjeni Hospital in Ulundi, furthering her commitment to healthcare and contributing to the well-being of underserved populations.
